AC and DC Power Separation
The module enables AC-type and DC-type Compact 5000 I/O modules to operate on separate SA power buses when required by the system architecture.
24V DC or 120/240V AC Supply
An external 24 V DC or 120/240 V AC power supply can be connected to establish the new field-side SA power bus.
Up to 10A SA Bus
The external SA power source is limited to a maximum of 10 A, with documented passthrough ratings of 9.99 A DC and 9.975 A AC.
MOD Power Passthrough
The 5069-FPD passes the MOD power bus through to the next module while isolating the new SA power bus from the SA power bus on its left.
Compact 5000 Platform
The field potential distributor is designed for Compact 5000 I/O architectures and supported CompactLogix and Compact GuardLogix control systems.
